These atlases includes brain and spinal cord images and MRIs of the brain. Content is freely available for use by health science educators. Interactive features allow the user to request an outline of structures or a quiz on the image content.
The Digital Anatomist Project
The interactive, anatomy atlases available at this site have been produced by the University of Washington , Seattle . Brain, neuroanatomy, thorcic viscera, and knee atlases are available. The software and images are available for non-commercial use with some restrictions.

NEUROLOGY
Digital Slice of Brain
Created by a team at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, the Atlas consists of whole brain sections cut at 3mm intervals. Sets of 1mm-interval, magnified, grey and white matter sections are also available. Colour highlighting and labels have been used to indicate cell function. Users can roll the mouse over an image to display the colour-highlighting and labels; can turn colour-highlighting off or on; and can use a zoom feature to magnify portions of an image. Users can download the atlas for off-line viewing.
Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (LONI)
Created by the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging at UCLA, this web site offers images and animated videos of the anatomy of normal and diseased brain structures. Materials on this site are copyrighted by LONI at UCLA, but LONI does grant permission to use the images when permission is requested.
Neurologic Exam: An Anatomical Approach
These videos and images were created by Paul D. Larsen, M.D. from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine and Suzanne S. Stensaas, Ph.D. from the University of Utah School of Medicine. Included materials may be copied, downloaded, and incorporated into other non-commercial teaching materials for educational use but authors request notification of use.
